Sheryl on her way to Paris World Para-athletic Championships

The Soutpansberg’s own Paralympian Sheryl James has been included in the South-African team to represent the country during the Paris World Para-athletic Championships in France.
Sheryl is currently training in Pretoria, because there she can be on a synthetic track daily with a specific coach to fine-tune her form. She will fly to France on 3 July to competed in the 100m, 200m, and 400m event at the championships. She will return to South-Africa on 18 July.
Sheryl said she was humbled and honoured to be included in the SA team. She added that she knew she really needed prayer and grace from God to pursue the path she was still on, so she valued her local community's thoughts and prayers.
