Residents of Louis Trichardt once again welcomed cyclists from all over the country for the 27th annual Kremetart Cycling Race.
The 175km stage race started and finished at Louis Trichardt high school this year. The first stage saw the cyclists crossing the Soutpansberg Mountain in freezing temperatures to complete the 53km to Waterpoort. Stage 2, which is considered a fast 48km, races past the Salt Pans and finishes with a slow climb into Vivo. Stage 3 finishes with a gruelling uphill stretch at Schoemansdal which truly tests the cyclists endurance. The final stage races back to Louis Trichardt.
