Baobab Guardian programme helps communities

The Baobab Guardian programme is a unique tree-plainting initiative where rural Vhavenda women plant and care of a baobab seedling at their homes, until it is tall enough to survive on its own. 

The guardians are rewarded for each centimeter their tree grows.
