Woede ná R524 nog ‘n lewe eis

Die haglike toestand van die R524-pad tussen Louis Trichardt en Thohoyandou was Sondagmiddag weer die oorsaak van ‘n ernstige motorongeluk, wat gelei het tot die dood van die 14-jarige Daniëlle Mitchell. Haar ma, Karlo Mitchell (43), het wonderbaarlik die ongeluk oorleef.

Vhembe swyg oor gesloer om lekke reg te maak

Sowat ses weke gelede het mnr. Tim Fraser van Louis Trichardt besluit om die regte ding te doen en ‘n groot waterlek laer af in die straat waar hy bly aan die Vhembe Distriksmunisipaliteit (Vhembe) te rapporteer. Duisende liters water het in die straat af gestroom en die lek het tot gevolg gehad dat huise hoër op sonder water was.
