A young former resident of Louis Trichardt who only recently moved to the city to further his career, died in a motor vehicle accident in Centurion a few weeks ago.

Brandon Muthan (26) passed away, following a motor vehicle accident on 13 August. He is the son of Kenny and Annie Muthan. He also leaves behind his sister Nicoleen Coopersamy, her husband Calvin, their children, the joy and jewels of Brandon’s heart, Tristan and Isabella, his beloved grandmother Lutchmee Moodley and his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brandon called Louis Trichardt his home until June this year when his work called him away. He attended the Emmanuel Christian School where he matriculated in 2010. “He gained a wealth of knowledge and work experience at various companies within Louis Trichardt, which provided him with the platform to move onto great prospects that were lined up for him,” a family member said.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the local community of Louis Trichardt for rallying around them during this very trying time of need and for being an immense source of strength and support in every way. “To all our family and friends who have travelled from near and far alike, your efforts, support and love have helped in easing this heartache, pain and loss that we all share in,” the family said this week.

“To you, Brandon, we will carry the warmth of your smile in our hearts, the comfort of knowing your soul has found peace and we will also carry the legacy of your huge, caring heart in the acts of kindness we do unto others in the manner that you would have so selflessly done.”
