Stiff fines for SIDFA teams

THOHOYANDOU - The Sibasa District Football Association's (SIDFA) disciplinary committee has imposed heavy fines on some of the teams that were found guilty of different misconduct during it's sitting last Saturday morning at their offices in Thohoyandou.

The heaviest fines were given to Tshilapfene Arsenal Sporting, Thenzheni Liverpool, Mutuwa Brazilians and Sambandou United Professionals for assaulting the referee and of the abandonment of a game. Liverpool was fined R1 000 for assaulting Mr Rudzani Nndwammbi, while they were also fined R300 for the abandonment of their game against Tshatshingo Potholes.

Arsenal was fined R1 000 for assaulting Mr Robert Makhari, while Brazilians was fined R1 000 for assaulting Mr Steven Mulabo and another R250 for abandoning their game against Makonde Manchester.

Professional was also fined R1 000 for causing the direct abandonment of the game.

Makonde Florentina was fined R500 for assaulting Edward Sadiki and another R250 for abandoning their game against Makuya Try Again, while Khubvi Feedas All Stars were fined R500 for causing indirect abandonment of the game against Sambandou United Professionals.

Guyuni was fined R300 for their failure to honour their game against Khubvi African Stars while Tshilungwi Manchester United was fined R300 for their failure to honour their game against Luvhimbi Wanderers.

A referee, Mr Vuledzani Nefotoni was fined R100 for bringing the league into disrepute while he is suspended for four games.

Tswera Hot Chillies was fined R300 for failure to honour their game against Mbuyuni FC. Points were also forfeited in favour of Mbuyuni while Musasenda Big V was fined R300 for their failure to honour the league game against Maholoni Stone Breakers. Points were given to Stone Breakers.

Tshiwani Flying Birds was fined R300 for their failure to honour the game against Khubvi Dangerous Darkies of which R150 of it is suspended.
