Musina annual show promises much fun

The Musina Annual Show, which started yesterday (Thursday) and ends tomorrow (Saturday), promises to be a thriller not to be missed.

The local municipality is optimistic that this show will be on everybody’s lips long after the exhibitors have disassembled their stalls. Musina Annual Show targets audiences across the cultural spectrum through classic advertising, publicity and trade exchanges, delivering a very high volume worth of exposure.

The fact that a large percentage of consumers tend towards cash buying means exhibitors enjoy improved cash flow as a direct result, with follow-up business after the show - adding a valuable rounding off of this powerful marketing exercise.

The spokesperson for the municipality, Mr Wilson Dzebu, says the show gives an opportunity to exhibitors, ranging from companies to government institutions, to market their products directly to the public. “This is an ideal platform for small businesses to network with government institutions, companies and other organizations which may consider appointing them as service providers. There will be irresistible attractions which include exhibitions, ranging from vehicle displays to food, a traditional village and manufacturers of different products, to name but a few. Fun lovers will enjoy entertainment in the form of merry-go-round, jumping castles, traditional dances, musangwe (traditional boxing), wrestling, theatre, drum majorettes and music festivals.”

Dzebu says apart from exhibiting products and entertainment, the show puts the municipality on the national map because everyone knows that there is something happening in Musina. “It also boosts our economic development because there will be lots of trading taking place here.”

Musicians who will entertain fun lovers during the show include Busiswa, Thebe, Dj Heavy K, KO & Ma’E, Mizo, Percy Mukwevho, Bellafonte, Dream Team, DJ Fisherman, DJ C’ndo, NaakMusiq, Black Motion, Dj Shimza, Ricus Nel, Liza Bronner, Jay, Complexion & Bambo, Worship House, Taki & Rofhiwa, Zozo and artists from Musina.
